As an institution of higher education it seemed to me that not only would the potential projects be interesting but being exposed the such a learned community had to be exciting. This November I will have been have been with the campus in differing capacities for 40 years and I can say that there has not been a year that I have been disappointed in my decision.

To a person that I receptive to diverse thinkings and approaches to the myriad challenges that come before to solve, there is no better environment. Our division, CUFA, as is Cornell in the whole, is one of collegiality while recognizing and encouraging individuality. It is an exciting environment to partner with. Were I to step back to 1967, I can honestly say my decision would be the same and would join with Cornell.” – Earl Hartman
